Evette Reed is a licensed physical therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience, with the majority of those years specializing in pelvic health and complex pain conditions. Her passion for pelvic health developed from a lifelong interest in human anatomy, shaped by her own experience as a physical therapy patient during adolescence, and, later deepened through her personal journey with pelvic pain. These experiences inspired the creation of Purely Pelvic, a practice intentionally designed to offer focused, one-on-one care in a calm, supportive environment. 

Evette graduated magna cum laude in 1995, earning her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy through Louisiana State University Medical Center–Shreveport in partnership with Louisiana State University–Baton Rouge. Over the course of her career, she has focused on treating complex pelvic and abdominal conditions with a thoughtful, hands-on, and individualized approach.

Purely Pelvic was created to be a calm, supportive space where patients feel comfortable,  heard, and respected. Evette prioritizes education and open communication, enabling you to better understand your body and actively participate in your healing. Her goal is to restore mobility, improve musculoskeletal and visceral function, and help patients of all ages regain confidence and control over their health.

In addition to clinical practice, Evette has contributed to advancing pelvic health physical therapy through research and education. She has co-authored six peer-reviewed studies focused on improving patient outcomes across a variety of  pelvic physical therapy interventions, reinforcing her commitment to evidence-based care. She continues to provide mentorship to physical therapy students, as well as less experienced therapists seeking to further their knowledge. 

When not in the clinic, Evette enjoys home renovation and woodworking projects, finding satisfaction in creating functional, meaningful spaces. She also cherishes time with her two children as they transition into adulthood. Originally from central Louisiana, Evette embodies the joie de vivre of her Acadian heritage —a foundation which strongly influences the warmth and care she brings to her practice.
